HeatX is easy to apply with minimal surface preparation
HeatX is water-based and contains no biocidal compounds. The omniphobic (water & oil repellant) nanocomposite properties create an extremely slick surface that releases bio films & growth.
In addition to being non-toxic and non-VOC-containing, HeatX is non-insular and can function under extreme pressures and temperatures up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Fouling Shield
Fouling can result in major performance and operational issues. Over time, tube surfaces become covered by naturally built-up deposits to form an insulated layer. As the overall heat transfer surface becomes layered with particles such as ash, soot, bio, dirt, etc., an increase in energy consumption is required to compensate.
Corrosion Resistance
Corrosion results from chemical reactions that naturally occur externally and internally in heat exchangers. Corrosion accelerates when ions are present or when exposed to chemical compositions rich in chlorides.
Erosion Protection
Erosion damage can occur when scale particles break loose and subsequently impinge upon other surfaces. Erosive wear accelerates when protective films deteriorate due to mechanical vibrations, excessive velocity, and suspended solid particles. The loss of material may lead to potentially dangerous problems physically and economically.
